ABOUT NIMPE MUSIC FACTORY
NMF aims to connect theory with practice offering both seminars and training sessions and an opportunity to perform live at an international event, the Linecheck Festival, one of the freshest European showcase festivals taking place in Italy, during the Milano Music Week.
MUSIC FACTORY OBJECTIVES:
For its 1st edition, the NIMPE MUSIC FACTORY will offer all travel and accommodation costs to 15 live music projects from 5 european countries to participate at the Linechek Festival 2018, in Milano, in November. NIMPE MUSIC FACTORY operates as a Live Music Incubator, providing 360o management training opportunity and experience to grass root talent, self managed solo artists, bands, singer-songwriters or DJ’s.
THE MUSIC FACTORY EXPERIENCE:
– 3 seminars / webinars for Music Management, Touring, Promotion & Networking (May & June 2018)
– 3 days of residency in Milan (November 2018)
– 60 accreditation to participate in concerts, conferences, workshops and training activities
– perform live in the music Experience during Linecheck Festival

A PILOT PROJECT FOR MUSIC NETWORKING IN EUROPE
NIMPE is a project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the EU and aims to develop internationalization of the music industry starting from upcoming bands and artists.
Nimpe is promoted by: Assomusica as leader partner – main live professionals association in Italy, DSI Swinging Europe (Denmark), NPO M.E.S.O. Events (Greece), Roots Music Organization (United Kingdom), SKUC Association (Slovenia) and Technopole Quimper-Cornouaille (France).
THE MUSIC FACTORY PROJECT – IN A NUTSHELL
NIMPE MUSIC FACTORY (NMF) aims to provide an international experience for grassroots bands. Encompassing 5 national workshops, webinars and seminars and live performances, NMF will support professionalization of musicians and music professionals surrounding the band (manager, agent, promoter…).
The first NIMPE MUSIC FACTORY will take place during the Milano Music Week at theLinecheck Festival, one of the freshest professional music showcases of Europe that provides both a Music Meeting and a Festival.
THE NIMPE MUSIC FACTORY EXPERIENCE
NMF is a full immersion experience into the music professionals world, with a specific focus on the five european countries involved in the first NMF project (Denmark, Italy, Greece, Slovenia, UK). All applicants will have a chance to follow either live or via the web, a national open day meeting on music management, an event in which the 15 finalist (3 selected bands per country) and a short list of proposals will be announced by the jury.
Selected Musicians and Professionals will be invited for 3 days of international workshops, meetings and the opportunity to play live in the Linecheck Festival Line Up, from 22 to 24 of November in Milan. Application & Participation Call are gratis (see details in conditions);
During the 3 days long residency, 60 young professionals (artists and managers) will participate in lectures, workshops and training activities and than will perform with their band live.
The live event will be programmed as part of Linecheck Music Festival events and all bands will be included in the NIMPE international Job board for further european or global music opportunities.

WHO CAN APPLY
Artists/bands performing own music material and work.
Any professional or semi-professional soloist, band, ensemble or DJ.
Participants must be above 18, with an International ID or Passport for Schengen Zone and must have already performed live.
All non-classical music genres are welcome.
NIMPE MUSIC FACTORY winning participants will be announced during the national Nimpe Workshop Sessions in May and June 2018.
