NMF 2018: More than 300 european music bands & projects participates to the call

The European Open Call for NIMPE Music Factory first edition was completed with success. Over 300 bands, live music projects and music professionals from the 5 initial participating countries (Denmark, Italy, Greece, Slovenia and U.K.) joined the call. We would like to express our enthusiasm and address a warm “Thank You” to all bands, artists, managers that trusted us and made this first attempt come true.

Europe’s music future is indeed bright, and by showcasing diversity in genres and creativity, we are pretty confident that the limits of the industry will expand in a very positive way.

Nimpe’s experts committee will have a very challenging and at the same time difficult task, to handle the numerous and very qualitative proposals, and  finally, to first-rate 15 bands / projects out of 300.

This is why we would like to emphasize on the fact that the selection criteria are based in consideration with the outline of Milano Music Week and Linecheck Festival. Nimpe Music Factory partners will focus on Exportability, overall promo package of the project and originality of the band. National committees will not have the right to vote for musicians coming from their territory.

In the following weeks, applicants are going to be invited to the first Nimpe National Workshop happening in Denmark, Italy, Greece, Slovenia and U.K. The event will provide the opportunity for management skills development and a meeting place with very relevant professionals of the European music industry.

The selected finalists from each country will be announced during the National Workshops and will also get further information regarding next steps. The Nimpe Music Factory will take place in Milan from 22nd to 24th of November 2018 at the Linecheck Music Meeting and Festival.
